I'm a beginner in weight loss too but i guess these tips might help; eat healthy fats and carbs like those in fruits and nuts; I'm guessing u r Indian so while eating say roti sabji or idli sambar or something similar; eat more of the sabji than the carb portion ; know your food, before eating something check its nutritional info to see if that's good for you.
