Decided to up my calorie intake today as I have been eating only 400 to 500 calories a day. Hoping my energy level improves as well. I work out 3 times a day for 45 minutes at at a time. I get so hot and tired that my appetite is gone when I am done. I am hoping to increase my metabolism by eating a couple of small meals a day.
72.3 kg Lost so far: 0.2 kg.    Still to go: 6.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

That's a good idea. You have to have fuel for your workouts. NO reason you can't eat 1000-1300 a day and still lose9or more). Beware though, that when you train your body to lose on so little, you can see an initial gain when you raise your calories.

The best way to know how many calories you should eat is to determine how much your body burns daily without exercise then cut calories to approx. 500 below that. Example: 34yr-old women 5'2" weighting 184 pounds who has a desk job burns approx. 1898 calories without exercise a day if she reduces calories intake 500 calories her diet should be around 1300 to lose a pound a week or cut calories down to 1100 for 1 1/2 pounds a week refer to this site for a rough idea of your basic calories burn http://www.annecollins.com/calc/5.htm?1
