good morning world! great day! Last day of August and just completed my first full month with FS and my new eating lifestyle. Im loving it! I feel in control which is awesome and learning so much about how food and exercise affect my body. I had a call from my a friend (she is on nutra system) wanting to know how i was losing weight. everybody wants a magic bullet. when i told her how i was doing it she seemed so disappointed but its all about the math baby! less coming in then going out! simple. well the math is simple. the rest is hard work but its feel-good hard work. i have also found that i dont mind the ups and downs in the weight and my expectations are where they should be. ive learned so much about the reasons behind the weight fluctuations that i dont stress. i know if i hit a plateau i will have lots of help from my FS buddies and will get through it.

worked my workout today. i have found if i do the strength training first i am ready for the cardio after and i do much better. i have found a couple discs that are for beginners that i really like. they have long and short programs on them and i can mix and match. i plan on getting more so it wont get boring. sure wish i could afford a wii right now but im putting it on my christmas list! i like my kickboxing cd the best i think. a little boxing for cardio and strength training in one! who knew i would like boxing? lol.

as far as my diet goes i am adding more chicken and looking into tuna!

Yeah....way to go Stacy :-). Isn't funny how everyone thinks when you loose weight, there must be a shortcut somewhere lol. I bet you felt really good, to think you are doing it the natural, healthy way, and your friend is on the prepackaged, preformed, non natural way, that she will probably not be able to maintain. Good for you trying to up your protein... I hope you get to like tuna :-)

Well done for completing your first month and with such great results! I love my Wii. The games do get repetetive after a few weeks but there are so many, something for everyone! And when you rotate them, they're like a new challenge if you've not played for a while.

They are not really "games" but workouts. It's all the exercise I have done so far and I have toned muscles in my arms and legs now. Money well spent!

everyone always says wii games get repetative.. I have yet to find this and I have had my wii+ balance board for like 2 years and have yet to find the repetative. I snowboard, ski, do the wii fit+ games, zumba, biggest loser, Gold gym's dance work out, and when I started I have Wii fit + and the ski and snowboard and never got tired.. if you can get a wii and a balance board do it! seriously even if you just get other games like bowling (good arm workout) its worth it..
