Of course the bees have to pollinate the male then go to the female and so on and so forth 

So are you saying that the males are only good for looking pretty, but the females provide nourishment? ;)

No problem Erq. I once asked my FIL, " do you know why male animals are more colorful than the females?", he answered, "no, why". I replied, "because that's all they have going for them"! He laughed and did not take offense! Hahaha. ;) 

You know, these flowers are actually eadible. you can (wash them thoroughly and fry a bit) and make an exceptional omelette!

Bonus of living in Bama I guess. Just barely starting to see 'maters on my plants now! Looks great! Keep them chickens away from them...mine always loved them! 

I'm a city gardener, so my plot is small. I like garden pics, keep them coming. #gardeningpride. How do you prevent powdery mildew? I got hit last year. There is too much on the internet, idk what works. I tried neem oil, it didn't work. 

I love those zucchini flower stuff with Mexican fresh cheese and pan fried they are so delicious 😋
