Good for you, good for all the flowers around. Very glad your bees are doing well.

Yum. And so true on allergy protection. If I have a cough or sore throat going to the pantry for honey works better for me than any store bought cough medicine.

Yes! My eldest daughters and my pulmonologist both recommend home grown honey to help with allergies! Better believe I have a huge glass jar in my pantry!! They look lovely!!

One question. I had some raw honey, but it does not keep very long, at least once the jar is open. It's there a secret?

Buying locally produced honey is important to the beekeepers. Their outlay of cash to maintain their hives is substantial. The benefits their bees provide to our local environments are unequalled. Love bees 🐝 love honey 🍯

Thanks. Mine was kept at room temperature since I also thought it would not go bad. After about a year, it transformed into a thick dark-brown goo that did not smell good. Honey is of course also awesome for hot toddies 😊
