So awesome! You gave a green thumb! When I tried growing seeds they burned up. 😪

OMG, you are a serious gardener. I'm only capable of things you can't kill like jasmine and grape vines. How awesome.

Funny our fall planting here in zone 7b is so different. We're planting garlic & hardy leafy greens. Our squash & cukes, green beans harvest is over. The figs weren't good this year. Volunteer Roma tomatoes still green. Have to rest some planters. Compost is not ready. Still loving ridemariel's chickens.

It's wonderful that you grow food. If more people are able to, we & the planet would be better for it. I grow food, but it's not to the extent you do. Hope to do better each season.

Bearnoggin, I've learned the hard way, seedlings burn in direct sun. I now start under a sunny window sill (filter by window), or under a tree. Apparently you have do the same for transplants (transplant shock)

Time to plant turnips. We plant on the first week September. Turnips and cabbage.

Thanks Mariel! I should try again. I put them in a south facing window sill. Guess that was the mistake. North is probably better!!!
