Pixie68's Journal, 07 Mar 19

I have been struggling since November to get back in the 170's. I got there briefly in February. When I got married early last November, I was 178 but quickly gained 10 lbs with the holidays and honeymoon indulging! I know the weekend is coming and I have a fancy dinner planned with friends on Saturday night, so this may be the lowest I see at the moment. But it's hopeful that I can bounce back, even if it takes a few months!
Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Unt-uh, girl! Don't go PLANNING to blow it at that dinner on Saturday night! Do you know where you will be going? Check out their menu online. You can usually get the nutrition info online, too. Then, PLAN your day to accommodate the dinner. If you feel like you'll have a lot of carbs at dinner, don't eat ANY of them before you go. If you think it will be hard to get in your Fiber, eat it all before you go. If you plan to be drinking, drink you 64 oz of water BEFORE you go! Let's put POSITIVE thoughts out there in the Universe! You can do this! And don't "predict" that it's going to take a couple months to get back on track! What are your Positive Affirmations for the Swimsuit Slimdown? Perhaps you should consider these: "I lose weight quickly and efficiently from ALL the right places!" "I make excellent food and beverage choices in social situations." "I PLAN for success, and have achieved ALL of my weight goals!" Ok, that's my "tough love" for the day -- now I can go back to being all sweetness and roses! LOL

Haha Thanks Debbie! Oh I wasn't planning on blowing it, I usually do pretty good with eating out. A few substitutions here and there. I just know that I will probably eat more courses than usual and definitely will have more drinks than usual. So I am just saying I will not be surprised if there is a stall or a gain because of it. But I have been very good at sticking to what I plan this week. Mostly because we are trying to save money at the moment. I will definitly go into it with a positive attitude and full of water :D
