Hope everyone had a lovely Easter, Happy Passover and weekend in general! Holidays, am I right!!? So I am back up a little, and it's my usual Monday dilemma. We had a house guest for the weekend, so lots of dining out and cooking out on the grill and general sitting around snackin'!
Also last night after our guest left, my husband and I rescued some kittens we had been watching all weekend. We had a cat that hung out in our yard when we bought the house two weeks ago. I could have sworn I heard kitten cries, but could never see them. So we just though maybe it was a bird. The little cat looked pregnant, so we were trying to watch her. Then we discovered on Saturday her little nest of kittens. There were 5, she took two and relocated them to another spot. She left the littlest 3, who looked a little sick behind. So now they are being bottle fed in my bathroom (every 5 hours!!). I estimate them to be about 4 weeks old! So taking them to the vet this week.
We are feeding the mom, so she can take care of the other two healthier ones. Hoping once she's weened them to catch her and get her spayed and released.
I will post pix once I get them cleaned up and checked out at the vet. But take my word for it , they are super cute.
80.2 kg Lost so far: 9.1 kg.    Still to go: 19.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
