Pixie68's Journal, 06 May 19

I am putting it down to stress, but I can't exactly pin point why I am so stressed this past week. Trying to get my old house on the market and my husband is stressed about it. I'm stressed about the money and he's stressed about the work, so I am sure it is just circling back and forth. Also lots of home-cooked meals, which usually are better for losing weight, but also bad for picking while I am cooking or even drinking while I am cooking.

Try chewing sugar-free gum while you're cooking, @Pixie68. (Make sure it is one with no CARBS, though -- I was shocked to find that my favorite had 2g Net Carbs per piece, and I chewed two pieces at a time 5-6 times a day!) OR, sometimes, I find that if I brush my teeth frequently, it will make me not want to eat (or drink) as much. The weight will come back down. Just keep being faithful in what you know to do.

You have high carbed quite a bit. Maybe that is the direction you want to take your diet but if you want to low carb you may have to work in some lower carb days. Sorry about the stress! Very hard to deal with weighloss when stressed. Hope the house will be sold soon

You are right Liv, I was conveniently not logging things this weekend. I know where i messed up, I didn't even want to weigh myself all weekend! @Debbie,thank you! have you tried Pur gum, that's the one i chew, 2 carbs but 2 grams of xylitol...so i think that is 0 net carbs? Does xylitol count as sugar alcohols?
