my calendar says I started my diet 28 weeks ago I have lost 26 lb not way impressive but I will take it

Um, given the past two years, I think it's great. I'm still running into people I know that went the other way. A loss is a loss if that's what you were aiming for.

Weight lost, no fat gain at our age is a hugh win, mobility gain, muscle gain is a win. Right? Another thought. As we age our body wants to gain weight as a buffer in case we need it for whatever reason. If too thin, we get an illness, the body doesn't have anything to fall back on. I believe that why we have to work so hard to lose weight as we age. I had to fall back on my fat stores, not because I got sick. B/c circumstances required it. When things normalized I gained all the weight back, plus some. My mind & body drained. My body naturally wants to store extra in case of the next famine. My body is amazing. I'm going to start treating it better.

I agree with you it seemed when I was younger I could lose so much faster I had so much muscle and now I have to rebuild as you said we will get it done maybe not the rabbit but the turtle

According to JPop, slow wins the race. Even the fables says slow wins the race. Unfortunately, I'm mentally built like a rabbit.
