ideal protein intake should 0.8 to 1.2g per pound of your body weight

Good to know. I think I'm keeping within range +\- 5 to 10 grams, here or there give or take. Gonna be gradually increasing it in proportion to my weight training though.. Perhaps somewhere between 1.2 - 1.5/ kg body weight by the end of this month or so...but I'ma do this slowly. I've read too much or sudden intake of excessive amounts of proteins could also add undue stress on your kidneys... which in turn would interfere with maintaining normal metabolic levels. Is this true?

protein intake does not damage kidneys. however, it is true that you should change diet plans in gradual steps. btw you have to make 1.2g per pound of body weight, not kg. that means you have to target more protein.
