Life on the road is difficult from a dietary standpoint. I have not weighed or determined the number of calories over the past 4 days. Tuesday, 3/8, I get back the regimen, weigh, count calories, and begin lowering my weight to 180,...again. It's a process, long term, and one which is bent every once in a while. Friday was a travel day, and was not too bad from a calorie standpoint. Much higher than normal, but definitely not a dam breaker. Saturday was a high fat, high carb, high calorie day with very few vegetables and very little protein except for breakfast. Birthday cake, pizza, donuts, eggs, bacon, and other foods that are not part of my normal routine. I don't even remember what was for lunch, but definitely just as bad as everything else. A real deal breaker. Sunday breakfast was not too bad with eggs, bacon, OJ, and some Cheerios. Lunch was at Red Lobster and had some grilled seafood with broccoli and salad. But there were also their biscuits which came in abundance. There was no dinner, but I did have a piece of strawberry cake with icing birthday cake. Monday breakfast was ordered in because the power had gone out from an electrical storm. I had a breakfast bowl from Chic-Fil-A, OJ, a few cheerios (dry). We traveled later in the A.M. and stopped for lunch at the Casey Jones Restaurant (the historical railroad engineer) in Jackson TN. This is a great place to eat if you are ever in Jackson. I had four 1/2 cup servings vegetables, an order of about 4 ounces of kielbasa (really good), and a brownie. We're having fruit and cheese tonight. Like I said,...back at it tomorrow. Hope all had a great weekend.
