Bionici's Journal, 13 Oct 23

On Thursday my wife and I drove from Nashville to Louisville and returned the same day. 2 hours to where we were going on the south side of Louisville. It was 4 hours back due to construction and an accident that slowed traffic to a standstill. Actually, it took 2 hours to get back within 12 miles of our home, then we sat in traffic for another 2 hours. It was also a day where there was no exercise and 2 high calorie meals. The meals were really good, but I did overeat. That equates to an artificial 2.8 pound gain. UGH !!! So, it's back to the recumbent bike this A.M., and eating right. On a really positive side, several weeks ago, it was discovered that I had 2 larger masses on my thyroid gland. Each is the size of what I would describe as a "mini-marshmellow". That's good size for a smaller gland like the thyroid. At any rate, biopsies were performed, and the results came back very good. The masses are benign. Everyone keep focused, keep excercising, and keep losing / maintaining their weight. God is definitely good !!

yes the road work is terrible my mom lives in Corydon Indiana and I always forget about it when we go up there. They're also doing a lot of work on the bridge and that's scary when you go over it! the roads in Indiana always impress me you can tell they spend a lot more money on their roads than we do in Kentucky. Shout out, for Indiana and properly spending their road work money. 😊 If you think 🤔💭 I'm crazy you just haven't driven cars on both roads the roads. Indiana roads are like butter compared to ours which have giant potholes and cracks looks like somebody took a jackhammer to it and forgot to fill in that part of the road. Then you cross into Indiana, it's this beautiful gray pavement that's all the same color and smooth it has no holes it seems (at least in the part that we've gone on), it's lovely! When you cross back into Kentucky you better watch where you drive, LOL.

Saranchristriley, I have been through there several times in the past year, and it is horrible. The same is true about coming through Nashville especially the northern part of the counties near the KY border. It is continous construction.
