Well, off the rails again today. Eating everything I won’t be able to eat starting on Monday. I’ve had some akin to a migraine for the past 13 hours. I’ve never had a migraine, but today I’ve been sensitive to light (had to pull blinds back down because the sun hurt my eyes). I have avoided my phone and computer for same reason, and can’t bear to think of practicing the piano because I’m sensitive to sound. I’ve taken two naps today but wasn’t able to take a third because of the tension in my head above my ears. When I was a child (and into my 20’s), whenever I was sick, my mom would always buy me an Almond Joy to make me feel better. Don’t have any of those, but I’ve eaten almost 1,000 calories of double-dipped chocolate peanuts today! Hasn’t made me feel any better at all!

Debbie it probably made you feel worse. Sugar is not your friend. Your derailed diet probably helped cause that headache i bet. From the 25-28 i allowed myself bread and on one day a bowl of ice cream and it made me nauseous and unable to sleep. We are what we eat. Why tell yourself you are going to eat crappy for a couple more days just to have to work that much harder to get it off? That makes zero sense. You and i suffer from the same addiction to sugar i think and the more you give yourself the more you want. Your body is rebelling and asking you to treat it kindly. Said with compassion my friend.

I hope your B.P. is okay. High blood pressure can cause headaches. Sugar is very tempting. And it is everywhere and in everything these days. Get well soon, Debbie! Hugs.
