If I could just start walking again, my weight would at least stop going up. I’ve gotten off caffeine; started drinking water; increased stress meds; and resumed practicing piano. Left to do: start walking and go back to eating sensibly.

Have you ever tried Chamomile Tea? Hot, Cold, Room temp it doesn't matter. It will give you water intake without caffeine and if want just add a few drops of flavor enhancer. Chamomile is great for stress relief.
