In my experience, real weight loss depends on accountability,testing blood, light exercise daily, & hours of hunger a day. It does not kill you. It cleans your body. Eating enough nutrition dense foods,100 calories of citrus, 2-3 cups steamed veggies, lean proteins, and breads and other starchy veggies that are loaded with fiber, and for me, at 71, overweight by 60 lbs, a type two diabetic, it's important to measure & weigh food. My low metabolism does best at 1000 to 1100. When I exercise harder than just walking, I try to make sure I get 1200 a day. Eating low fat, low calorie does make you younger. You feel lighter, stronger, and a whole lot less tired.
