Wow, to my surprise 193.2 this morning on both scales!

Weight loss is not logical to our perception, sometimes, because it depends on water retention/ loss, and other factors that are probably only within the reach of rigorous medical analysis. But at least I lost another pound, which, if my 204 lb start is accurate, brings me to 11 lbs off. Probably most of it water since it's only been since July 6 that I have drastically cut calories to 1200 or less, and carbs as low as I can stand it. My jeans are still tight but my physical agility has improved . I can bend over and touch the floor flat handed easily. Just a few days ago that hurt my legs and knees so much that I bent in a semi squat when I tried to reach the floor--and that very slowly to avoid pain. Something about too high a blood sugar score was making my body feel very old.

If at 70 years of age resting metabolism is probably 1400 or so, being active must add a bit there. Maybe I will lose faster than I speculated.

My blood sugar this morning was 108. Hurray. It has been a long haul to get it down from 165 a.m. blood sugar!!
87.5 kg Lost so far: 2.3 kg.    Still to go: 23.1 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.
